Giving Thanks and some movies to watch.

Okay, It's been over a week...Ahem....probably a little longer since i've updated this.

I hope everyone had a healthy and safe holiday.

I wanted to take the time and thank all of you for reading my stories supporting me.

This has been so far not only a great learning experience, but the friendships I've made have been second to none. MUAH.

Okay, you all know me pretty well by now. Enough the the mushy stuff.

Besides being in a turkey coma, for several days, I've not only been writing, (Bay, you and Susan will be happy to know that BTW. LOL), but I've been also catching up with some great movies.

Instead of posting a long blog about the Rocky Collection which I'll do eventually.

I decided after talking to a friend to discuss a movie that not only provokes thought, but also left me saddened and disturbed.

The movie is called The Dead Girl. And it stars Brittany Murphy, in what is only my opinion, the best role she's ever done.

She is Krista and her life is weaved into 5 compelling stories. With each story, she transforms the people around her with either a positive result or with such a horrific result that you can't help but to watch, be angry and see how the rest of the story unfolds.

The other cast members are Marcia Gay Harden, Kerry Washington, Toni Collette, and a performance by Mary Beth Hurt that I am blown away by.

I watched this movie on Sunday...and today....it's still with me. When you write and direct something like this great piece and hope it moves either a viewer or if your an author a reader, you've done your job.

Thanks Karen Moncrieff for not only telling a great story but showing us that nothing is always fairy tales and happy endings....Sometimes just seeing life is what it's all about.

Later peeps
